This will be in force at the next Wyre show.
ALL PASSPORTS WILL BE CHECKED ON ENTRY TO THE CARPARK.
If it is found your passport is not compliant you will be asked to leave.
Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive at the show and for these checks to take place.
STATEMENT FROM MYERSCOUGH
INTERNATIONAL EQUINE ARENA

We would like to bring to your attention the ongoing risks associated with Equine Influenza (Equine Flu), a highly contagious respiratory disease, and remind all horse owners the importance of remaining vigilant. This is to protect the health and welfare of their horses ,the wider equine community, and our horses housed on site.
We are kindly asking all those who are attending our venue to follow the guidance below.
Our Expectations
-Ensure ALL HORSES vaccinations are current and compliant. ALL passports will be checked
-Any horses that are NOT vaccinated are not permitted on site AND WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY
-Passports should be carried at all times and will be checked, none compliance will result in competitors being asked to leave site.
ANYONE WITHOUT A PASSPORT must not unload their horse or enter any facilities.
-ALL horse owners have a responsibility to ensure they help reduce the risk of spread amongst the wider equine community. DO NOT visit venues if your horse or any horses on your yard show ANY viral signs or symptoms, or are unwell in anyway.
-Horses should be returned to box park between classes and not be held or congregated in groups in or around the facilities.
-Horses are not permitted to hand graze in any areas of the venue.
-Competitors are advised to keep their distance from others.
-Please DO NOT allow any direct contact with any on site horses in fields/ stables, via visiting horses or handlers
-NO ACCESS is permitted at any time in our on site stables.
-Report any suspected cases of illness immediately.
-Follow any additional biosecurity protocols we may implement if risk levels increase.
-Maintaining high standards of vigilance and biosecurity is essential to protecting ALL HORSES within the equine community.

Wyre & District Riding Club Stars team 2025

Wyre and District Riding Club is all about Grass roots competition, encouraging riders and competitors of all levels, offering training and development and most importantly being fun, fun, fun for all involved local riding club. We are now starting our 5th season.
In our first year the club successfully put a full team into the STARS Champion of Champions.
STARS is a show for around 60 riding clubs to send their points winners to compete against the best in the North West.
We did Brilliantly coming 11th out of 60 Clubs in 2021.
We were again affiliated to STARS for 2022 and came joint 11th, the standard this year had grown in strength across all clubs and the competition bar set high.
Well we did it again affiliation for 2023 and took an amazing team of club members who we couldn't be more prouder of as 2023 was our year Congratulations team
"Stars champion of Champions Supreme Riding Club of the year"


We couldn't be prouder of our Wyre Family. The Rosettes are amazing, the Team are super helpful, and most of all we want to support you at Grass Routes Level.
There is a wealth of experience on the Committee from LR and FR to Show jumping and Games we are here to support you.
More than anything, this is our passion and we want you all to have a great time!
